Our friend Joe just may be a genius He took what he called junk from around his garage and made a great garage retreat for him and his buddies to watch the game The bar is made of a few old x s and some bi-fold doors that were cut in half He filled out the area and decor with an old wodden mail box from a hotel that he found From Joe I had an old work bench in my garage with power on it and my son said Dad why dont you make a Man cave Bar in the ......Read More
Jared added a few details here and there but for the most part, followed the plans on the site. The result is this beautiful new bar in his apartment and, of course, Jared being the toast of the town. Nice work Jared!
"He Man Woman Haters Club"
"You're A Gentleman And A Scholar And There Are Damn Too Few Of Us Left"
The bar is overall outstanding. Great Job Roger!!
Brett decided to skin the bar with pine planks over the sheeting. He added a little trim to contrast the light finish and came out with a very nice basement bar. Now you have to finish the rest of the basement to be as nice as the bar ;). Nice work Brett!
Sean and Tiffany decided it was time that they had a home bar. $1k and less than a month later they had Stiff's(the name of their home bar), the baddest sports bar in town. Nice work guys.
These photos were sent in by a contractor, P Hashem Contracting.
Self proclaimed "Weekend Warrior" Kris built this beauty over a couple of months. The bar features a built in wine cooler, custom foot rest, and tiled work area. Nice work Kris!
Apparantly Nick is better at some things than he is at others. With a party looming the very next day, Nick did not have a bar at his house. The next day was ST. PATTYS DAY! This tells up that he is not great at planning ahead. What Nick is great at is building an entire bar in one day for under $150! It must be a St. Patty's Day Miracle!
Ken and Sue started with a stack of 2x4s, a few sheets of birch ply, some stain, poly, and trim, and in three short weeks they magically had a new hang out. Well there was probably more to it than that, but I can tell you that for 450 bucks they came up with a great bar that fits perfectly in the space that they had to work with!
If anyone needs some ideas for a man cave, I suggest that you give Peter a call immediately. He took what looks like a simple storage space and made it into a wonderful bar setting that anyone would be proud to call their watering hole. He used every inch of space and made an outstanding hangout for the guys(or girls). Nice work Peter!
Carrie wanted the place to look nice when her husband got home from deployment so she got out her tool belt and went to work. What she came up with was this beautiful home bar. She managed to save some cash by making her own trim and edging. Believe it or not Carrie got this project done, single handedly, from start to finish for under $400. Well maybe the single handedly part isn't true, but the budget is. Carrie had help of this project from dear old dad!
Mark modified the basic plans to add an "L" shape to his bar and also added a nice back bar. He used a Grand Ole Opry theme to give his bar a really unique look and pulled off the theme wonderfully. He customized the bar top by adding records, guitar pics, and other memorabilia under the polyurithane.
The bar looks outstanding Mark. Now all you need is some beer taps and a tip jar!
Jean built a beautiful wood bar with built in cabinets and a very nice back bar with a built in bar fridge. This home bar also features a nice hanging rack for stem ware and lots of storage.
ill used the basic plans on the website but made a few adjustments to the bar to suit his needs. He made the bar about 6 inches taller than the plans called for since he is a big guy and it seemed more comfortable.
To save some cash he used an oak stair railing for his foot rail and used oak stair nosing for the bar rail. As you can see the bar is finished in a very natural tone.
Looks like it came out great Bill!! Thanks for the photos.
Walt used oak for the shelf and the bar top and pine for the sides. He decided to make the bar top one inch taller than the plans called for and used chicago bar rail for the arm rest. Nice looking bar Walt!!
Albert built this basement beauty with the help of his 15 year old son Jonathan and his father in law. They choose to make a wet bar with a nice tile work space and plenty of outlets. When paired with the pool table and nicely finished basement this bar should provide a great place for all 3 generations to get together and share some good times. Nice work guys!
David modified the plans to create a nice L shaped bar that works well in the space that he has designated for his bar. He finished the bar off with a nice countertop, wood cabinets, and a double sink. Nice work David!!
This was Woody's first big building project but the finished product is not that of a novice by any means. Woody modified the standard plans to make the bar shorter and mobile. He added aluminum to the counter and workspace and build his own cabinets.
A feature that you don't normally see on portable bars is running water. Well Woody went a step further than that. This outdoor gem has connections for both running water and electricity that can be easily connected wherever he decides to park it.
Very nice work Woody!!
Mike was looking to build a home bar and not spend a whole bunch of money What he came up with looks like anything but a budget bar While he did get the entire project done for under you would never know it by looking at his new watering hole Mike used pel and stick tile instead of more expensive stainable plywood to finish the bar He used roof and gutter silicon to hold the tiles in place Mike also saved a few bucks by building his own foot rest and finishing it with the exact same tiles The bar is ......Read More
Margaret headed to the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville PA in April with her sisters and found her calling in the strangest of places She new she had to head straight home and build a bar of her own Not having ever really built anything out of wood before she was in for a challenge After looking at her photos I think you will agree that she was very much up for said challenge She used x s for the frame and hardwood ply for the skin Red oak tops the bar along with red oak trim throughout She added custom storage ......Read More
This is a truely unique outdoor bar When Gene first sent in the photos I had to look closely at parts to be sure that I wasn't actually looking at pictures of Wrigley Field Uniqueness aside this bar is build with serious outdoor function in mind The bar breaks down into parts so that it can easily be moved to wherever the next party is I think I just had a tailgate idea The bar can be on casters or bolted to the deck or concrete as well The whole thing is covered with waterproof paint so the weather should be ......Read More
