How To Build A Bar Step Six

Finishing Your Bar

Putting the right finish on your bar will make all the difference.  You may want to build a tiki bar and add split bamboo to the outside of your bar, or paint some type of graphic to fit your theme.  For our virtual bar we chose to go with a simple dark stain and black molding and trim.  We also added a triple sink with 2 faucets and cabinets.  I have also added a brass foot rail but you have other options for this as well.

A few other options for the back of your bar are to add speed rails to store your liquor, or exchange the cabinets for shelves.  There are countless things you can do behind the bar and this is only intended to give you a vew ideas.

Once you decide on how you want your bar to look its time to add some comfort.  Your "customers" need somewhere to rest their feet.  Add a foot railing.
